Ms Hackleman,

I want to thank you for writing "Marion the Magnet".  I think it's such an important Universal Law to teach kids at an early age.  I don't have children of my own, but I have given each of  my 4 nephews a copy & they range from age 2 to 10.  I think it's a terrific & valuable gift to give, instead of toys & I intend on "gifting" copies to my friends who have children.

Dear Sharon,

I have just read #1 - Marion the Magnet's First Mission.  Outstanding!
Your artwork is also fine. :)

It's what I teach - "What you think is what you get!"

I too am working on a series of ten books - "I Feel Wonderful" series -
each one designed to show the young reader that the Power lies within each
of us to do our best work.

Entertaining illustrations, creativity, and a unique premise offer an interesting read in: Marion the Magnet's First Mission.

"1-2-3 think it to be!" The story's philosophy encourages positive thinking and teaches young readers to visualize what they want. Though interesting, "Marion the Magnet's First Mission" is a bit lengthy for the targeted age group. The length may disrupt the story flow and cause a lack understanding for the premise, however, shared with a parent or adult, this book could be magnetic!

*Reviewer's note: Marion the Magnet's website (http://www.marionthemagnet.com/) is impressive and kid-friendly! We give the website a **** 4 STAR review!

Woven into the highly imaginative and dramatic, interest grabbing story line, the "easy as 1-2-3 think it to be!" philosophy helps children of all ages spark their imagination while providing a gateway to creative visualization. Any child will be motivated to become a magnetic thinker. Stimulating illustrations by John Blair Moore.

Hi Sharon,

Just wanted to let you know the book arrived a few days ago. My daughter and I read it together. It's always interesting for me to watch her reaction. Some books I love while she finds them boring. Others I think are kinda goofy, while she will read them over and over. This one was a hit with both of us, and Alyeska is already using the 1, 2, 3 ideas to manifest a few fun things in her life. In fact, she says she has a story to write to your website!

Marion is a young magnet who lives on the planet Magneto with his Mom and his faithful dog-companion, Polar.  One fine day, he wakes up full of anticipation – his Grandfather is coming for a visit and he is bringing Marion some special news!  Marion soon finds out that he has been chosen by the Universal Guides Committee to fulfill his very first mission.

Marion, Polar, and Grandfather jump into a whirling blue vortex and stream on over to Earth, where Marion is set to teach the children of the Wannaknow Village all about Magnetic Thinking.

Magnetic Thinking is using the power of positive thought to bring about positive action. Marion explains that first you must think of what you want or something that you wish to have happen.  Second, you visualize or “daydream” what you want.  Finally, you keep your mind open to new possibilities.  Marion calls this theory, “1, 2, 3 – think it to be!”   Marion’s friends Cassie, Tyler, and Katie find that keeping a positive attitude helps to bring good things into their lives.

Author Sharon Hackleman has written a wonderful book which,
although geared towards children, contains a very important
message for people of all ages -- that you have the innate
power to attract to you what you want by using the power of
positive thought.

Marion the Magnet's First Mission is very cleverly
illustrated and written in such a way as to keep a child's
attention from the first page to the last.  Bravo to Ms.
Hackleman and I anxiously await what I hope is the next in
a series of Marion books!!

"I can't wait to share the news about Marion The Magnet's First Mission, by Sharon Hackleman. She is a talented storyteller, whose writing is amusing and interesting, but more importantly, her themes are helpful and inspirational. While guiding young people toward magnetic and positive thinking, she reminds the older generations also, of how very powerful our own thoughts are, and reminds us to think positively to attract the things that we desire in our life. She accomplishes this in the best way; through entertaining us with a delightfully charming story, and adorable illustrations that will capture the kids attention. Bravo, Sharon!!!"

Hey that's great! I didn't know that your sister writes books, or at least a
book.  I like to see her on a talk show someday.  I believe she is right on,
thoughts create what happens to us.  I am very intrigued on the magnetic field
as well as the power within.
